Nantes (France) To Host International Cycling Conference, Velo-city 2015
Nantes (France) will host Velo-city 2015, the world’s most important cycling planning conference. “We’d like to congratulate the city of Nantes and Nantes Métropole on winning the Velo-city conference for 2015. They were up against some impressive cities and it was not an easy decision,” says Bernhard Ensink, Secretary General of the European Cyclists’ Federation.

Velo-city is the largest cycling planning conference series in the world since 1980. The overall objective of the 2009 conference, which will be organized from May 11-15, will be to integrate cycling as a means of transport and leisure in its own right.
